Tirtho
I am Tirtho Biswas — a computer science student, which is one way of saying I spend my days studying how separate things are made to speak to one another.
Networking is where that question gets literal. Packets, handshakes, routes: a whole discipline built on the premise that nothing is truly isolated, that every node is only itself because of what passes through it. I find that beautiful before I find it technical.
Outside the terminal the same question just changes costume. Self-inquiry — the plain, stubborn asking of what is all this, and who is the one asking. No conclusions yet. Mostly I've learned that the question survives every answer I've handed it, which I've decided to take as a good sign.
When I'm not doing either, I'm watching animation, playing games, or letting music run — three different ways of agreeing to be somewhere else for a while, which may be its own kind of practice.
